Hi, I’m Sabrina! I’m an Apostolic Strategist and Spiritual Midwife whose purpose is to help you run with vision and birth your kingdom assignment with victory! 

I have helped self-publish over 11 books and workbooks via Amazon KDP and I want to help you too! I have experience in proofreading, designing book covers, and formatting paperback books. I am a multi-talented individual who has a gift for making your dreams come true! Everything I do is divinely inspired and passionately excellent. That’s why you can trust the outcome of my work. Overview

This program is designed for newbie Christian authors who have written their first book and want to self-publish through Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing program. For 30 days, I will guide you through the process of self-publishing. By the end of the 30 days you will have your book uploaded, published, and ready to be purchased through Amazon’s website. 

We will begin with a kick-off meeting via Zoom to introduce ourselves, receive the program syllabus, and get started on our journey. The replay will be posted in our private Facebook group called Divine Scribe Society.

Self-published Accelerated Mentorship Program Timeline

  • Each Thursday you will be given a new assignment and provided with the details of how to accomplish that assignment. 

  • On Saturday, you will be given the opportunity to meet with me via Zoom (30 min) or on the phone to discuss any issues or roadblocks you are experiencing with the assignments. 

  • On Monday, a pre-recorded check-in video will be posted to the private Facebook group so that you can post your accomplishments, motivation, inspiration, or questions about what you’ve been doing for the last couple of days. 

  • 30-day access to me to ask questions outside of the specified time via email or text

  • A finished and published book on Amazon!

 

Weekly Guidelines

You will need to devote 1 - 2 hours per day or every other day to get finished. This is an accelerated program. Take time for yourself. You deserve this! 

Use your lunch break or when you’re riding in the passenger seat to do research. You can also take time right before you go to bed. Skip your binge-worthy tv series just for this month to accomplish something that will make you feel on top of the world!

Week 1

  • I’m going to walk you through the do’s and don’ts of the hiring process. We’re going to create a vision board so that you can professionally explain what you need your proofreader to do and what your book cover designer needs to create. You will also format your book.

Week 2

  • This week we are checking in with your hired professional. You will decide if you want to design your own book cover or hire a designer. Lastly, we will make decisions about our ISBN, book size, and keywords.

Week 3

  • I’m going to walk you through the process of uploading your book to Amazon. We’ll discuss what proofs, author copies, the royalty calculator, and more. You’ll sign up for a KDP account and design your author page. I also give you the template to design your own purchase page (optional).

Week 4

  • Sometimes life gets in the way, but that doesn’t mean you will fail during this journey. You have another week to catch up, ask questions, brainstorm on marketing tactics, and fix any errors that Amazon catches. You will also have the chance to purchase copies of your book to sell in person at your book launch party.

  • You are part of my introductory mentorship program where I test out my program with those who are interested to receive critical feedback and suggestions for improvement.

  • Once you start the course, you will be given a downloadable guidebook (program syllabus) with all of the mentorship program’s information. Due to the receipt of this, the cost is non-refundable. If you join the program and change your mind before receipt of this download, you are entitled to a refund.

  • If you desire to have a book of quality, it is always best to have someone else read your book. Our eyes and brains have been reading our personal manuscripts for a long time and are trained to read what it is supposed to say and we can therefore miss what it actually says. Having an extra set of eyes is beneficial, but you want those eyes to know what they are reading in terms of correct English grammar, spelling, syntax, sentence structure and more. If you have friends or family members who have a great command of the written English language, then you may be able to ask them to read and edit your book for free.

  • Through a program called GIMP, I have found a way to design a simple and eye catching book cover that will work for almost anyone. I can quickly teach you skills that can produce a simple, pictured background book cover just as I did for my book.

  • I have a predetermined timeline that gives some space for error and for unexpected surprises, but the timeframe is tight. You will have to be disciplined, but this shouldn’t overwhelm you. I’m confident that this can be done within 30 days or less. However, this is my beta launch, meaning this is where I iron out the wrinkles and we may go over 30 days, but I don’t estimate it to go over the predetermined timeframe.

  • All of the Thursday live Zoom calls will be recorded and posted in the private Facebook group for you to watch and rewatch at a later date. If you are unavailable on Saturdays, we can reschedule your personal one-on-one time another day.

  • You absolutely can! However, since this is just the beta program, the official program will be more expensive and refined based on the suggestions, struggles, and any other issues that may arise.
